Omega at the Oscars

An Omega timepiece was on the wrist of no less than the winner for The Best Actor Award at the 95th Academy Awards. Yes, it’s Brendan Fraser we are talking about and I was so happy to see him win!

I remember him from a very early role as George of The Jungle which my children who are now already in their twenties would watch again and again. It was undoubtedly a favourite film of theirs. As for me, I couldn’t help but notice and say that George of the Jungle was a remarkably handsome man. Then came The Mummy movies where we were so delighted to see him again. He went a bit quiet for some time but has now emerged triumphant with his performance in The Whale. Kudos and congratulations to him.

Omega was also on the wrists of other prominent artists and winners for the occasion. The watches were clearly a great choice for those who value and understand the magnificence of time. Scroll down to see what some of them wore.

It was wonderful that we could all relate to him too. I always wondered what happened to the talented and fast-talking boy who was part of the charm of the legendary movie, Indiana Jones and the Temple Of Doom. He helped make the movie even more memorable. He has now taken centrestage with his acting performance, winning an Oscar for it.
