Will Detox Clean Toxins Out of The Body?

Detox diets claim to help you lose weight, clear out toxins and boost energy. However, there are not enough scientific evidence to prove these claims. In fact, there are significant risks associated with detoxing and it’s essential to stay away from fad diets that promise dramatic results and are overly restrictive.

On this week’s posting, we share with you if detox diets actually work and is it worth the hype?

Some of the most popular detox diets are:
• Fasting for a few days
• Juicing
• Drinking certain herbal teas
• Enemas
• Eliminating foods like added sugars, alcohol and processed foods
• Exercising more
• Eating only organic foods

How Effective Are These Diets?

•Some people report feeling more focused and energetic during and after detox diets.

•However, this improved well-being may simply be due to eliminating processed foods, alcohol, and other unhealthy substances from your diet.

•You may also be getting vitamins and minerals that were lacking before.

•That said, many people also report feeling very unwell during the detox period.

There’s little evidence that dietary cleanses do any of the things they promise. The fact is you don’t need to purchase a product to cleanse your body. Your liver, kidneys and gastrointestinal tract do a good job of detoxing it every day. If you’re looking to rejuvenate your body, focus on eating more whole foods, drinking water and removing highly processed foods from your diet.
