As this year marks its 20th anniversary, Variante’s presence at Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) 2025 was particularly significant. The spectacular runway collection was called “It’s A Beautiful Life” and seeing the fabulous outfits made us feel that there are so many wonderful things in life.

The presentation was superb and the choreography and showmanship made the audience gasp with delight. The splendour was clearly in a superior class of its own. The appearance of Dennis Lau with his violin during Variante’s show added to the overall magnificence.

Known for a blend of classic silhouettes with a modern edge, Leslie Variyan’s creative designs for VARIANTE are a testament to his belief that every woman is beautiful. His work reflects style, sophistication, and elegance, catering to the modern and empowered woman.

The crowd’s adulation could be seen and when Leslie stepped out onto the runway at the end of the show, the audience clapped enthusiastically with appreciation and delight.

A group from the media met Leslie before the show at The Oriental Park, KLCC and we were highly impressed by his creativity and his passion for all that he does. He looks at life in an inspiring manner and shared that each and every day, he is grateful for everything in his life. He doesn’t believe in moping around, complaining and feeling depressed as he feels so many of us are so fortunate in so many ways … we should count our blessings and be thankful for what we have.
