“Be Bold. Be Safe. Behold and be Brave”. That was the message of the recent charity event held in honour of Pink October by Kevin Murphy and Montibello, renowned leaders in the professional haircare industry.
The 2-day event is the second time Kevin Murphy and Montibello joined forces with Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) in support of the global breast cancer awareness campaign. Held at INC KL Eco City Mall, the event was aptly called Be Bold Be Safe.
Kevin Murphy and Montibello are internationally-known haircare brands with currently over
hundreds of professional salons as their clients in Malaysia. As the leading brands for luxurious haircare products in the Malaysian market, this makes Kevin Murphy and Montibello the first ever professional hair care brands to involve hundreds of salons nationwide in support of the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign in Malaysia.
R Beaute Sdn Bhd, the father company of both Kevin Murphy and Montibello, is no
stranger to the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event. Last year, Kevin Murphy
and Montibello dedicated their whole October for BCWA and raised a substantial amount
of funds for the cause. Similarly, this time around, they are dedicated their October to
the cause by donating RM1 for each bottle being sold to BCWA. They also have proceed
all profits made during the event days to the association.

One of the highlights of the event that visitors benefited from were the free Clinical Breast Examinations by registered nurses as well as breast self-examination tutorials. Visitors also had the privilege to bring home free Kevin Murphy and Montibello mini products. Kevin Murphy and Montibello also offered professional haircuts and styling at only RM20 and RM10 consecutively right at the venue to add further fundraising for BCWA.
The Kevin Murphy brand ambassadors, Nicole Yen who’s the owner of Zetro Salon as well as Yen Lim who owns Wenawave Salon joined hands with the Montibello brand ambassadors, Roy Thean from Hair Bar Estudio and also Joshua Yan, the owner of Headish KL offering their professional skills for visitors in honour of the campaign.
