Coach progresses towards a fully circular business model with the launch of Coachtopia.

Introducing Coachtopia. Powered by the community in the hopes of creating a better future for the planet, Coach’s new sub brand is set on circular craft and collaborative creativity.

Set to launch in Asia later this year, Coachtopia has opened in the United States, Canada and the UK. Stemming from its Made Circular™ design philosophy, which consists of three principles that inform how the sub-brand designs, crafts, and reuses products, it is with the mission to help advance a circular fashion system that Coachtopia was born.

With 80 years of leather expertise under its belt, Coach is reimagining the product lifecycle from end to beginning. Through Coachtopia, the idea is to reduce the creation of new materials and to minimise waste by designing products that can be reimagined, remade, and recycled. This is an important step towards sustainability with luxury brands beginning to take responsibility for their impact on the environment.

“Circularity is about reimagining not just the product lifecycle, but the relationship between brand, planet and consumer. That’s why we’ve created Coachtopia as both a discovery lab to pioneer circularity in fashion and a collaborative platform for change,” says Joon Silverstein, SVP, Global Marketing, Creative and Sustainability at Coach and Head of Coachtopia.

The focus on engaging and empowering the next generation of consumers on the climate crisis and driving change is an increasingly passionate one. Their input and involvement are critical to creating a more sustainable future. By co-creating a new brand in collaboration with a growing community of Gen Z individuals, Coach is showing a commitment to engaging with and listening to the next generation of consumers.

The Coachtopian community’s active involvement since the earliest founding days is a testament to the effectiveness of this approach. By continually sharing their perspectives on circular fashion, shaping concepts, and setting expectations of the change they want to see, this community is helping to shape the future of Coach and the fashion industry as a whole.
