Parisian Style With SANDRO’s Fall/Winter 2024 Creations

Shopping for Christmas has started and SANDRO is a brand with lovely apparel and accessories everyone will love. There are many attractive outfits and items introduced in the SANDRO Fall/Winter 2024 season. A look at the offerings at their Suria KLCC store convinced us that Sandro is clearly in a fashionable class of its own.

The SANDRO women design studio is reappropriating and revisiting the codes of the uniform. Bourgeois, formal or more institutional, the aesthetic archetypes are rethought and transformed to define a non-conformist uniform. We never knew uniforms could look this good.

Contrasting with the rigour of military uniforms, academic references and workwear details blend with officer codes. Jeans are worked in raw denim, and carpenter trousers are reinterpreted as feminine shorts. The pleated skirts and twisted knits of the college years are revisited and tailoring is imagined in an oversized cargo version with multifunctional pockets on suits. Particular attention is paid to detail.

Borrowed from the wardrobe of the bourgeoisie, shades of camel, navy and burgundy combine with the greys of 1990s offices in a minimalist spirit that underlines a refined, timeless aesthetic. The focus is on tailoring precision. Falsely worn leather pieces, such an aviator jacket, testify of the design studio’s attachment to a certain idea of authenticity.

The exploration of contrast is particularly focused on the masculine feminine. Embroideries in rhinestones or pearls add dynamism to wardrobe essentials.

Crop volumes feminize the silhouette. The studio has also revisited some of SANDRO’s signatures: the MARINÈRE and FLAME jeans come in new variations. Always mixing codes, SANDRO women make uniform classics their own with elegance and femininity. Through timeless pieces, they know how to emancipate themselves from their meaning to better express their singularity.

When it comes to men, the SANDRO studio confronts materials together. A zipped shepherd’s vest in ecru shearling straight out of a sheepfold, a cognac leather overcoat, flared trousers and loose-fitting thermos-fused denim – the look is almost hippy, but sharp.

The collection features black, navy, brown and grey tones that express the SANDRO look. There’s no extravagance, either in the cuts or the patterns, but a particular attention to the fluidity of materials and cuts, as evidenced by a range of warm wool suits and Italian cashmere or yak knit jumper.

The SANDRO man does not settle for so-called “essential” pieces, but suggests an attitude. A way of wearing and combining. Impromptu, almost improvised and simple.

The Bag

The TANGOSO bag is a statement piece. Fall Winter 2024 sees a new chapter for SANDRO accessories. The new TANGOSO bag’s aesthetic is minimalist and refined, creating a classic style that will cross seasons, and seasons to come.

It’s clearly a bag women will love. Combining design and practicality, it is a style that will work for any occasion. Its fold-up detail, and two strap detailing, create a versatile design, being able to carry on the shoulder, or cross body.

The TANGOSO style has been produced in three timeless colorways that echo the brand’s Fall collection. A camel suede leather, smooth burgundy, and the classic black. To not distract from the classic design, a golden logo is discreetly imprinted at the base of the bag, defining the true expression of SANDRO’s expertise in accessories.

The Campaign

It’s interesting to see the way the brand reconnects with Paris, drawing inspiration from the city’s energy. SANDRO’s creative teams, in collaboration with Joe McKenna and Jonathan Frantini, develop the season’s image. Penelope Ternes and Joseph Uyttenhove embody the Autumn-Winter 2024 collection.

SANDRO unveiled a fascinating narrative with the vibrant artistic scenes of the city dominating the central stage. At the Moderne Art Fair, SANDRO captured the movements of artworks from the studio to the gallery, allowing models to interact with these pieces in motion, and creating unexpected views with decorative elements.

It’s now the start of the season to be merry and jolly. Christmas and the end of the year, plus the approaching New Year is a time for us all to do something for ourselves as a reward for working hard the whole year. And, let’s be honest! Shopping is high up on the list when it comes to doing something that will make us happy.
