KC Global Media, in collaboration with Astro, brought the ONE Astro Fan Fest to life
KC Global Media, together with Astro, brought the ONE Astro Fan Fest to life last year, giving Malaysians the best of Korean entertainment and a star-studded line-up of fun and activities. We are certainly looking forward to seeing what they will be doing this year in 2025. It will surely bring more excitement into our lives!
For one weekend only, during the end of November, at the Sunway Pyramid Orange Concourse, there was an exclusive meet-and-greet session with Korean superstar Yeo Jin Goo. Fans were lucky enough to be treated with a live performance and had a chance to play games and also take photos with the superstar.
Visitors could participate in many exciting activities at the booths, including a Running Man themed activity based on the popular series of the same name. Not only that, visitors also had the chance to test their K-knowledge in various activities such as Pictionary K-Edition, Guess the K-Drama and K-Drama Super Fan, and win exciting prizes!
There also were special appearances by artists from Gegar Vaganza 2024, GOXUAN, and TV series like Project; Exit, Curang Tanpa Niat, Rahsiamu Selamat Denganku, Berbahagi Suami, Kelas Tahanan Cikgu Hiragi and the upcoming film Kahar: Kapla High Council. This exclusive event featured prominent artists including Nadhir Nasar, Mierul Aiman, Naim Daniel, Amir Ahnaf, Aedy Ashraf, Fazziq Muqris, Alvin Chong, Siti Khadijah, Amad Baharin, Siti Elizad, Sharifah Husna, Evertts Gomes, Arabella Ellen and many more, offering fans unique meet-and-greet opportunities and on-stage appearances.
ONE and Astro Rewards offered 50 lucky customers the chance to win an exclusive photo session with Yeo Jin Goo. To participate, they had to simply download the My Astro app and enter the contest.

ONE also partnered with Sunway University to bring the excitement of ONE Astro Fan Fest online. Mentored by a local content creator, the students of Sunway University created engaging content, capturing memorable moments and highlights of the event, ensuring no fan missed out on the experience.

The event with Yeo Jin Goo was fantastic especially as he is a superstar with a wonderful personality. Fans waited patiently for him to turn up and it was worth the wait as he interacted happily and warmly with the crowd. Many screamed with delight and fans were also were overjoyed when he tried to speak some Malay words, which he pronounced with a charming accent. Let’s hope more Korean superstars will be brought to our shores this year and more exciting events such as this one will be held in 2025.
