Old Friendships Rekindled
It was a reunion that was long overdue. Recently 30 former students of SMKP Bukit Kuda Klang met at Courtyard by Marriott Setia Alam with great enthusiasm.

Puan Sri Puspa Nathan shared it was a time to renew old friendships. Over Hi-Tea, they shared snippets of conversation about their careers, families, retirement, travels, likes and dislikes, etc. They also marvelled at how different their lives’ paths are.

Some have not met each other since leaving school in 1977 for various reasons and it was a joy to reconnect. It wasn’t easy to remember some names though they could recognise the faces, and had to jog each other’s memories with much hilarity by sharing moments of mischievous events during school days.

The group definitely let their hair down, reliving their teenage years, reminiscing moments long past. Says Puan Sri Puspa, “Good or bad memories and experiences shaped us to what we are now. And we are grateful for having reached the six decades of our lives with more than 50 years of friendship.”

They’ve started planning the next reunion in 2027, the 50th year of leaving school. The group shared, “May our friendships continue, come what may.”
