We could feel the excitement in the air before the fashion show by TANGOO was going to start. Everyone was looking forward to seeing the collection and from the moment it began, everything was absolutely breathtaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Local Malaysian brand Tangoo proudly unveiled its latest fashion collection, Venus Ascendant, at Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) 2025. This presentation by visionary designers Eric Yeong and Moses Law saw romantic silhouettes dominating the KLFW 2025 runway at the Esplanade, KLCC Park.<\/p>\n\n\n

Inspired by divine femininity, celestial beauty and eternal romance, the audience could not take their eyes off the runway. Everyone was clearly fascinated and delighted.<\/p>\n\n\n

This new collection draws its inspiration from classical mythology, Botticelli\u2019s iconic \u201cThe Birth of Venus,\u201d and the enchanting dreamscape of pearls, celestial motifs, and fluid drapery made it a poetic tribute to Venus, the famed goddess of love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tangoo fashion show at KLFW 2025 opened with a striking contemporary dance performance by Jimmy Wong. It was a dramatic prelude that mirrored the collection\u2019s ethereal energy. The specially choreographed dance was Wong\u2019s tribute to friendship, movement, and transformation, embodying the soul of Venus Ascendant.<\/p>\n\n\n

Moses Law is an innovative fashion designer known for his avant-garde and deconstructed creations. His work often blurs the lines between art and fashion, utilizing unconventional materials and asymmetrical forms. He is celebrated for his unique aesthetic, challenging traditional notions of beauty and garment construction. He also has a unique personality and his presence radiates energy and positive vibes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eric Yeong, alongside Moses Law, is the creative co-founder of Tangoo, which was established in 2002. The fashion brand’s name and designs are inspired by the founders’ shared passion for the tango dance, infusing elegance and movement into their creations. The brand has been represented at global fashion events and has won several prestigious awards.<\/p>\n\n\n

From gilded gowns and pearlescent sheers to structured capes and modernised togas, each piece in Venus Ascendant balances classic luxury with a dreamy, fantastical energy. Gold, ivory, oyster, and moonlight hues form the colour story, whispering of ancient divinity and modern glamour. The glistening textiles and draped satins in the womenswear draw emphasis to sensuality and softness while the tailored menswear reinterprets the masculine with an ethereal twist \u2014 strength softened by emotion.<\/p>\n\n\n

For the fabrics, sheer organdy is used on selected outfits for a crisp but delicate finish while the glossy finish of satin mirrors the lustrous elegance of pearls that have helped inspire and have been incorporated into the collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were also amazed and delighted when we saw the showstopping finale piece inspired by angels and created using recycled materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tangoo’s designers and their team certainly deserve praise and admiration for a job well done. We look forward to seeing more accomplishments by them in the world of fashion in the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n
