Her car ensures the various purposes are met, such as going to work, sending the children to school and their other activities and more. Most women are particular about the car they drive. It has to meet their requirements in terms of safety and practicality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a group of women from the media, it was an exhilarating experience when they were given a chance to test drive Proton’s newest pride, the e.MAS 7, an electric vehicle (EV), in conjunction with Mother’s Day. The exclusive lifestyle event was organised by PRO-NET, a subsidiary of the national carmaker. A total of six electric cars were part of the convoy, carrying the media personnel to Janda Baik, Pahang. The cars ate up the miles effortlessly through back roads and pockets of lush greenery. A total of four or five could be fitted comfortably in each vehicle and for the passengers, the spacious interior ensured comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The e.MAS 7 is also eye-catching, with sleek lines, modern features and pleasing colours. On the road, the vehicle, Malaysia’s best-selling EV for four consecutive months, attracted attention from other motorists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was designed to highlight how the Proton e.MAS 7 seamlessly fits into the lives of modern women. Aptly named The Real e.MAS Drive, the event honoured not just the vehicle, but the women from all walks of life who inspire it with their resilience and grace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Day of Empowerment and Wellness<\/strong>
The media personnel started the day by gathering at Proton\u2019s Centre of Excellence in Shah Alam for a product briefing that highlighted the key features and capabilities of the e.MAS 7, followed by a safety briefing. The convoy was then flagged off for the scenic drive to Tiarasa Escapes in Janda Baik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along the way, participants experienced the e.MAS 7\u2019s spacious and comfortable interior and were impressed by its advanced technology and safety features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed with safety at its core, the e.MAS 7 comes equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) that provides partial automation, allowing the vehicle to control steering, acceleration and braking, but requires the driver to remain attentive and ready to take control. Features like Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), and automated parking are common in Level 2 ADAS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Level 2 ADAS boasts a 5-star ANCAP safety rating, providing drivers and passengers with added peace of mind. It also ranks among the highest in its segment for child occupant safety and adult occupant protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon arrival at Tiarasa Escapes, participants enjoyed a special yoga session, led by The Flow Studio amid the soothing sounds of nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the event’s highlights was a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) demonstration, where the e.MAS 7 powered a Vitality Juice Bar setup, highlighting the vehicle\u2019s versatility and suitability for an on-the-go lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The V2L feature enables the car to power a wide range of appliances, from electric grills and portable lights to cooler fans, making it the perfect companion for weekend family camping trips or outdoor adventures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Bamboo Hills to test out DC Handal\u2019s fast chargers. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

On the return journey, the convoy made a brief stop at Bamboo Hills to test out DC Handal\u2019s fast chargers. DC Handal is a Charge Point Operator (CPO<\/em>) which predominately offers ultra-fast DC chargers with capacity of up to 400kW. This gave participants a chance to experience the e.MAS 7\u2019s best-in-class DC fast-charging capability\u2014charging from 30% to 80% state of charge in just 20 minutes. Even a 10- minute charge delivers an additional 135km of range, making quick top-ups during pit stops both convenient and practical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, e.MAS 7 drivers never have to suffer from range anxiety because accessing charging points is a breeze via the Live Integrated Charging Map – the only one of its kind in Malaysia, which lists all Charging Point Operators. With this integrated map, which is also available via the Proton e.MAS App, you can locate, navigate and pay for charging all within the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
